Thank you for purchasing our Snowload Kit for your canopy. This kit will help support the roof on your canopy and keep it from sagging under the weight of snow. Although this will make your canopy stronger, it is still very important to remove the snow from your canopy.
It is best to put this kit on while you are assembling the canopy, before the rooftop is in place and while the roof structure is still on the ground.
- Loop one end of the cable around the center peak fitting and through the triangle space. Use one cable clamp to tighten the cable together. Keep the bolts of the clamp facing down to protect the roof tarp.
-
Run the Cable on top of the peak poles to the other end of canopy and loop it around. As you run the cable from one end to the other, space the cable appropriately.
-
Place the Pipe Clamp on the lowest point of the peak pole on the same side as you started.
-
Open up the turnbuckle as much as possible and attach the hook end to the Pipe Clamp. (Keep the point of the hook facing down to protect the roof tarp).
-
Loop the end of the cable through the eye of the turnbuckle. Create a loop and attach the second cable clamp. Be certain that the cable is as tight as possible from the top to the base before tightening the bolts on the clamp.
-
Turn the turnbuckle to tighten the cable as tight as possible.*
-
Tape over any rough edges to protect the roof tarp.
